Over the hills and far away, my favorite adventure buddy joined me in search of a Peony garden that I had long heard about and always wanted to see in person.
We hit the road and headed out early, cameras in tow and hopes high.
After a long but beautiful drive, we were greeted with a field of beautiful blooms. The farm was so charming, complete with llamas and lambs roaming nearby. To say this place was beyond our expectations would be an understatement. There were big blossoming flowers of every possible breed and color you could ever imagine.
And plenty of tiny buds waiting to sprout.
We were lucky to have a perfectly misty California morning. Droplets of dew gathered on the the huge pink petals and the fog cast the perfect light over the endless rows of green and pink.
The garden is a bit off the grid but if you can find it - take only memories and leave only (soft) footprints ;)
